Wow, how lucky are you to be a taste tester for chocolatey carmel goodness!

Yeah, I was really lucky that day.  Maybe I’ll post about it sometime.

Frankly, I think everyone should visit Hershey Park at some point in their lives.  Their Chocolate World ride is a lot of fun (although now it’s been modernized to accommodate more people and thus is a little shorter and not quite so fascinating) and the park is really entertaining.  Plus, Hershey’s candy EVERYWHERE!

The Future Of Music Business Models (And Those Who Are Already There) | Techdirt → techdirt.com

Followup to my last post on the recording industry - case studies of famous/not-so-famous artists going the independent route to make a buck with their music.  A very interesting read, even if it doesn’t appear to the path most musicians can/should yet take.

I just took a long stare at the keyboard, I couldn’t help but noticed that  ‘U’ & ‘I’ are together, and I admit I got kind of happy thinking hey it’s probably meant to be but then I looked underneath the letters and & it said JK.

Rip Music from Tumblr →

mindset:

» Download music from Tumblr: A bunch of people have been sent to this page via Google after searching for “rip tumblr music”, or similar phrases. I figure I might as well outline how to do that so as to avoid unintentionally misleading people.

To download tumblr songs, Firefox should be your most-used internet browser. You’ll also need the Greasemonkey addon. Greasemonkey allows you to install third-party scripts to customize the way you view webpages. The script you will be using for downloading tumblr mp3s is Tumtaster. It creates download links below music players on tumblr that allow you to easily download any song you may come across. Enjoy!

This works wonderfully. Not that I would advocate stealing music.  I’m all about the artists getting their cut. (I just wish the record label didn’t get a bigger one.)

Do you know how hard it is to eat yogurt with a spork???

It starts off all great, and you’re thinking to yourself, “Hrm, this could work!”

Then you get down to the last third of the cup and suddenly it’s like you’re Milo in The Phantom Tollbooth trying to move a pile of sand a grain at a time with a pair of tweezers - half of every spoonful goes right between the tines and stays on the bottom of the cup.

Moral of the story? Don’t be a lazy ass and wash one of the spoons in the dishwasher yourself instead of trying to use makeshift cutlery to eat yogurt!
